Description

Ajwa dates

Ajwa dates are a special variety from the Medina region of Saudi Arabia. They have a unique, round shape and a deep red, almost black color. Not only do their strong fragrance and fine texture distinguish them from other dates, they are also much drier and chewier than other varieties, yet still soft and with a velvety sweetness that almost makes them melt in the mouth. Ajwa dates are highly valued for their health-promoting properties, as they contain many healthy nutrients that can also be found in our other dates.

Supports digestion

Dates provide soluble and insoluble dietary fibers that can help regulate digestion. A fiber-rich diet supports bowel function and promotes a healthy microbiome.

Natural carbohydrate profile

With their high content of natural sugars such as fructose and glucose, dates offer a readily available source of energy – ideal during increased physical or mental strain.

Micronutrient rich

Dates contain significant amounts of potassium, magnesium, vitamin B6, and other micronutrients that are important for various metabolic functions and cell supply.

Cell protection through antioxidants

Dates contain secondary plant compounds, including polyphenols, which have antioxidant properties. These can help reduce oxidative cell damage.
